About the project

In 2019, the Institute for Contemporary History marked half a century by embarking on the digital preservation of its scholarly achievements. The academic contributions of our associates, testimonials about the institution, and the library catalogue including its special collections are assembled here for public use.

The project “Half a Century of the Institute for Contemporary History: Digitalization of Scholarly Productions and Internet Platform Development,” was developed in order to increase the visibility of the Institute’s scholarly and cultural outputs. The aim is to contribute to the popularity of contemporary historical scholarship and to widen the pool of its users, as well as to democratize access to the results of academic research and to facilitate international cooperation.
